<p>Promotional magazine insert for Sunlight Soap, possibly from the 1920s. The front has a colour illustration by Bernard Partridge of an old woman doing the laundry by hand in a green, wooden tub in a flagstoned back yard. A young girl with long, blond hair is sitting on a wooden stool, blowing a large bubble out of a white pipe. There is a box of Sunlight Soap underneath the stool.  The detergent requires "no rubbing, no scrubbing". This is number 16 in a series of Lever Brothers advertisements.</p>
