Correspondence relating to legal proceedings by various parties against the London Food Commission (which no longer existed by that time), relating to the Commission's (Tony Webb's) claims about the trade in irradiated seafood, claims he made in a 1989 BBC Radio programme (which were objected to as being defamatory) being repeated in a published book Food Irradiation: The Myth and The Reality by Webb and Lang, London Food Commission. The solicitors acting for Tim Lang were Birnberg and Co. Material in the file does not indicate how the matter was resolved.
