Vols. 1-3, 2nd ser. include reports of the institute, of the managing committees, of the schools of classical studies at Athens and Rome and separately paged bulletins containing matter supplementary to that of the reports. With v. 4-12 are annual supplements containing annual reports of the Archaeological Institute of America and the American schools in Athens, Rome, and Palestine, 1899/1900-1907/08. This supplement was superseded in 1909 by the Bulletin of the Archaeological Institute of America.

Vols.1-35 (1897-1931) called second series; with vol. 36 "second series" dropped.
