Description
A film following GP Dr Robert Howarth as he becomes expedition doctor during the 1988 British trip up Kusum Kangguru in the Himalayas. He is set the task to maintain the health of the expedition team who encounter frostbite, mountain sickness and gastroenteritis. Throughout he treats people with the antibiotic agent Ciproxin and explains why this drug in particular is the most effective for these conditions.
