    Chemical Compound for Healing Cuts, Scalds, &c. PROVISIONAL SPECIFICATION left by William Jones at the Office of the Commissioners of Patents, with his Petition, on the 14th October 1853. ( Void by reason of notice to proceed not having been given within the 5 time prescribed by the Act.) I, William Jones, of Porchester Place, Hyde Park Square, in the County of Middlesex, Gentleman, do hereby declare the nature of the said Invention for “ A Certain Chemical Compound or Compounds appli¬ cable as a Remedy for Cuts, Scalds, Burns, Wounds, and Accidents of 10a similar Nature to which the same can or may be applied,” to be as follows :— To equal parts of the following* substances, namely, bol. armenia, blue vitriol, rock alum, and white copperas, (which I pulverize and reduce into a fine powder by any method in use for that purpose,) I 15 add four parts of acetic acid or common vinegar, and agitate the whole until it becomes of the consistancy of paste; but should I require the
