Four lectures (enhanced by scientific animations and student questions) in which scientists explain what circadian clocks are, how they work and what relevance this knowledge might have for human health. They also describe the scientific techniques that led to their discoveries of the genes, proteins, and other components that make up the circadian clock. The speakers are: Michael Rosbash, HHMI Investigator at Brandeis University and Joseph S. Takahashi, HHMI Investigator at Northwestern University.
