Attributed to T. Mayersbach
The attribution to Mayersbach in BM Cat. and Halkett & Laing can hardly be correct, as his diagnostic methods are condemned, although he is not mentioned by name. (His command of English was in any case notoriously inadequate. This is perhaps by the same author as 'The imposter detected', from the same publisher.
