Notes

This work is untitled: the title has been supplied by the cataloguer.
The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "Little Richard (born Wayne Penniman; 1932- ) on a publicity postcard for the 1956 Hollywood pop musical film 'The girls can't help it'. Penniman's exaggerated and outrageous make-up and performing antics pre-date the likes of Mick Jagger, Marc Bolan and David Bowie by a generation. Just as 'outrageous' in his private life, he has at different times declared himself to be bisexual, homosexual and 'omni-sexual'".
