Tertiary syphilitic ulcers and induration of the lip

Watercolour drawing of tertiary syphilitic ulcers and induration of the lip of ten months' duration. The patient was a woman aged 35 years old and in great poverty. Healing took place quietly while she took iodide of potassium with good food.
