Description

Boura was not interviewed but provided Connolly with disc copies of chapters from 'A Golden Journey' a biography written by him. Also contains scanned photographs (the modern printed copies are in poor physical condition) with captions. The biography includes the 1940's - includes chapters on his medical training, joining the WRL, development of an antihypertensive drug, Discovery of Bretylium, Discovery of Bethanidine, Reckitt & Colman, Discovery of Etorphine, Dipenorphine, collaboration with the Lederle Laboratorie, M-Compunds, non addictive analgeiscs, discovery of partial agonists or Antagnoist-Analgesics, Ian MacFarlane discovery of Bupronorphine, nervous transmission modulating mechanisms, emigration to Australia.
