Notes

Pauline Davis comes from Canterbury in Kent. She was originally working in accountancy. She adopted two children when there were 4 and 5. She is an mature art student at University at UCL. She has done printing, painting, fine arts but her background is amateur ceramics. She is working on a project at a local hospital - making a wall mount with 15 other people. . On the plinth she is going to do a sketch a minute - has a timer and her friends in the crowd are bringing a whistle to help her. She is raising funds for a charity called Shelterbox run by Rotary which provide disaster aid for anywhere in the world. They send out boxes contains lifesaving equipment tents, sleeping bags, water purification tablets, etc for a family of 10 to save for six months. She has already raised £495 to provide one box. .
