Finding aids
Database description taken from that in: Richard Palmer, Catalogue of Western Manuscripts in the Wellcome Library for the History & Understanding of Medicine: Western Manuscripts 5120-6244 (London: The Wellcome Library for the History & Understanding of Medicine, 1999). Two letters enclosed in this manuscript and an inscription at the back of MS.5592 indicate that the lectures these notes were taken on were given by John Hunter. Palmer’s catalogue and research on the content of the notes indicate that the lectures were in fact given by William Hunter.
