Most of Chain's earlier correspondence with Rey is in Section F, as he was Research Director of Nestlé Alimentaria S.A. until his early retirement due to ill health in 1974. The following letters cover a wide variety of topics and refer to various scientific and industrial projects in which both Chain were Ray were involved
