The division of the work of the hospital into two separate departments (Eye and E.N.T.), has contributed not only to the efficiency of the Institution, but, we believe, considerably to the welfare of the patients. The new Orthoptic Department has been of great assistance to the Ophthalmic Surgeons and of enormous benefit to our patients. The new X-Ray Department, though only recently established, has done most valuable work. We would wish to record our gratitude to all our colleagues for their help during the year, and our appreciation of the ever willing and efficient service of the Matron and Nursing Staff. F. A.
