The dying man's testament to the Church of Scotland: Or, A treatise concerning scandal. Divided into four parts. 1. Concerning scandal in the general. 2. Concerning publick scandals, or Scandals as they are the object of church-censures, and more particularly as they are in practice. 3. Concerning doctrinal scandals, or Scandalous errors. 4. Concerning scandalous divisions. In each of which there are not a few choice and useful questions, very shortly and satisfyingly discussed and cleared. By that singularly faithful and wise servant of Jesus Christ, Mr. James Durham, late minister of the Gospel at Glasgow, who being dead, (by this) yet speaketh. And published by John Carstares, one of the ministers in Glasgow. To which is prefixed an excellent preface of famous Mr. Blair, minister of the Gospel at St. Andrews, wherein he also vigorously driveth the main design of the blessed author in this last piece of his labours. Together with a table of the contents of the several chapters of each part.
