About this work

Description

Jerusalem and its city walls are shown on the right. The walls have been breached and the Seleucid army is entering the city. Some of the attackers are in tall wooden towers that move on wheels (presumably supposed to be rotated from inside the tower, since no locomotive force is shown), while others are arranged on foot in large phalanx formations
