Langley Family

Collection of cookery receipts, with a few medical receipts. Against a receipt on p. 175 is a note 'this receit was got in 1704', but the main part of the volume is probably earlier. On p. 183 there is an entry dated 1747, and there are a few additional receipts by hands of the first half of the 18th cent.

1 volume 3 ll. + 184 pp. + 2 ll. folio. 31 × 191/2 cm. Original vellum binding, damaged. Pp. 5/6 and many leaves at the end cut out, lower corner of pp. 183/184 torn away: many margins frayed.
