Creator/production credits

There is a mezzotint of the same composition, in the same direction, published in London by John Bowles in 1768, which bears the lettering "Designed by J. Harris & improved by drawings after the life by J. Dixon. Dixon fecit." (Wellcome Library catalogue no. 16503i). Other versions name Wilson instead of Dixon. The present print by Negges is assumed to derive from a version of that mezzotint
