Organs of the mouth and neck. Dark red blood deposit on dorsum of tongue, composed of blood expelled during life with the vomit. From the interior end of the tonsils downwards extends a broad reddish transverse strip, with well defined inf[t?]erior margin on a plane approximate to the commencement of the oesophagus, of which the yellowish tinge is a local manifestation of the generalized jaundice.
