Notes

Brenda Bertram comes from North Sheilds. She is retired but used to work with people with learning difficulties and helping them integrate into the community. She enjoyed her work and helping others. Very recently got meningitis. She is interested in arts and crafts, particularly sewing, knitting and designing. On the plinth she is talking about two people from North Shields who created ships and is making plasticine ships (lifeboats) that she will be launching from the plinth.
