Description

An Analysis of the Forty-eight original Symbols of the Celestial Globe and the application of them to the Seasons and natural Phaenomena of Egypt. Author's holograph MS Illustrated with pen-drawn copies, and cut-out illustrations from works on Egyptian and other antiquities. Written on the rectos only. On the first page: `The Gift of her affectionate Father John Kendall, to his beloved Daughter Alicia Bicknell. 1834. As a companion to this Analysis, I also give to my said daughter Alicia, my large Celestial Globe. J.K. 1834'.
