Description

Ars Notoria: the Notory Art of Solomon, showing the cabalistical Key of magical operations, the liberal Sciences, divine Revelation and the Art of Memory .... Englished by Robert Turner Filomathhs. London. 1657. On p. 56 is an unfinished drawing of a sigil. This MS. appears to be a contemporary copy of the book published in 1657 (Wing 3326). The title given above is taken from the entry in the B.M. Catalogue s.v. Turner (Robert)]. In the complete printed book there was also an 'Astrological Catechism', not included in the present MS.
