1 volume 238 ll. 8vo. 151/2 × 91/2 cm. Original calf binding, defective. A leaf or leaves have been torn out after p. xi of the preface.

Purchased 1928.

Biographical note

An addition on the title-page states that the author was Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London (1814). Under the word 'Preface' on the sixth leaf, the author has added 'To the Final and Second Editions'. [see the Dictionary of National Biography]. On the verso of the inter-leaf facing p. xi of the preface, he states definitely that he is 'offering this 3d edition'. It was published in 1819.
