Frankish's letters include an account by him of his life Patient no. 1538, in Retreat 1884 (transfer from Wadsley Asylum) - 1885 (discharged). Age 41 on admission, Quaker, married, ex-manager of steel works, from Sheffield. Vague delusional insanity
