This publication superseded the Archives de l'Institut Pasteur de Tunis, which had published 11 vols., 1906-1920; in 1923 the latter series was resumed as "t. 12"; the first number of v. 12 however, appeared first as "Archives des instituts Pasteur de l'Afrique du Nord, t. iii, no. 1, 1923"; this cover was later replaced by one which reads "Archives de l'Institut Pasteur de Tunis, t. xii, no. 1, 1923" (the two issues having the same text)
