Asthma.

The focus of the programme is childhood asthma. It examines some of the factors which may contribute to asthma including diet and exposure to cigarette smoke at the foetal stage and in childhood. It explains the physical mechanism of asthma and shows allergy tests, lung capacity tests and children and adults using inhalers. The difference between preventative and relief medication is explained. Jane Asher is the narrator.
