About this work

Description

Chief Rabbi, Lord Sacks, believes that, contrary to the idea of science and religion being polar opposites, they can work together. He meets three non-believing scientists. Neuroscientist Baroness Susan Greenfield, theoretical physicist Professor Jim Al-Hkalili and evolutionary biologist Professor Richard Dawkins. Greenfield describes her work with human consciousness and says that she is not against the idea of consciousness and religion working together. Al-Khalili discusses his work with Higgs boson, the so-called 'God' particle. Dawkins reaches some areas of common ground with Sacks and they agree to walk towards the future together.
