Notes

Anthony Larkin works in Manchester but is originally from Cornwall. He wants to work as a GP but for the time being is working for the health service as a Leadership Fellow. His job is to promote awareness about lifestyle factors etc. in the prevention of disease from smoking, drinking and get people to be more proactive about looking after their own health. On the plinth he will draw attention to this with some statistics on a board, about the fact that life expectancy in Manchester is ten years less than that job someone living in London.
