The tidesman's and preventive officer's pocket-book, Explaining the general nature of importation and exportation, so far as concerns them in the execution of the water guard duty. With a list of goods imported from foreign parts into the port of London, from the place of their growth, production, manufacture, &c. agreeable to the act of navigation. Also the general and particular cases of forfeiture of goods, vessels, &c. and goods prohibited to be imported and exported. Likewise proper directions in stoping of goods, searching for run-goods upon information, and seizing the goods for being run, with the manner of laying the causes before the board for their honours orders of prosecution. To which is added, the foreign ambassadors and gentlemen and ladies assistant in clearing their baggage and small presents at the customs-house,with the allowance of stores, &c. permitted to be passed duty free.
