Description
A number of volunteer and clinical trials were carried out on interferon. Trials of interferon on volunteers from the Treasury were planned for 1962, but had to be postponed to enable further tests to be carried out in the laboratory. Collaborations with pharmaceutical companies and other organisations were also investigated.
