Notes

Michael Bottomley comes from Haliifax, Yorkshire. He had survived double pneumonia just before Christmas and has just had his 50th birthday and feels like celebrating. He is a consulting engineer. specialiaising in lifts. On the plinth he will be playing songs he has written over 35 years. His colleagues will be sponsoring each song he completes. Any money raised will be given to the UK Lift Industry charity. His songs range from melodic ballet to political songs.
