Notes

The first work was first printed, probably at Heidelberg in 1488, and in Italian translation at Modena in 1492. In this MS. there is a mistake in each of the dates in the Colophon: 1576 for 1567, and Mcccc lxxx iiii for Mcccc lxxx viii. The colophon itself between the lines ending 'condigna laboris' and the end 'e di selvano' has lost some lines which are found in the printed versions. The second work is an abbreviated translation of the 'Régime du corps'; the Physiognomical section being reduced to seven lines only on fol. 66. It does not seem to correspond with the Italian MSS. of the work entered in Bandini's Catalogue of MSS. in the Laurentiana at Florence.
