Papers relating to a conference organised by the Royal Medico-Psychological Association, Psychotherapy and Social Psychiatry Section and Clinical and Research Section, 'Hallucinogenic Drugs and their Psychotherapeutic Use' held at the Royal Society of Medicine, London, 16-18 Feb 1961, including material on organisation of the conference and draft programme; typescript of a paper given by Rosen based on case studies of patients under his care; manuscript notes made by Rosen on papers given during the conference; off-prints on the therapeutic value of lysergic acid diethylamide in mental illness, notably by R. A. Sandison; some manuscript notes by Rosen on LSD therapy for depressives and obsessives, dated 25 Jan 1961.

Note: some manuscript papers on a specific case study and detailed typescript notes of the patient's experiences under LSD psychotherapeutic treatment in 1960, have been extracted and are filed separately under PP/ROS/E/7/16a. The file is closed for Data Protection Act reasons.
