Description
Measles infection
This is a low power view of the lung at autopsy in a child who died with HIV and measles infection.
There is inflammatory consolidation and numerous giant cells can be seen in the alveoli. H&E stain.
The sections shown in images W0047309 and W0047310 are from the same child.
