Notes

Louise Wood is from Northumberland and is taking part in the project because she likes the idea of being a little bit of history and having a record of her life. On the plinth she is going to be talking about her life so far, in particular, she will be talking about her history in a domestic violent relationship and how she found her way out of that. She briefly discusses the relationship and mentions how she became really good at theatrical make up to cover up bruises she had on her face, and she will be showing how she did this on the plinth. She also talks about after she left that partner how he used their two children as a way of keeping the mental abuse going. Louise eventually joined the police and was able to fully break away from the abusive relationship and she is now in a new relationship and has two young children with her new husband. She had now retired from the police force and is a humanist celebrant which she talks in depth about, she also enjoys singing and amateur dramatics.
