Description

By Stewartry of Kirkcudbright County Council Education Committee for year ended December 1955. The report relates to treatment at Castle Douglas Child Guidance Clinic by Psychiatrist, Dr W. J. B. Rogers and Psychiatric Social Worker, Edgar McCoy and statistics gathered by an Educational Psychologist through school visits. The report includes statistical tables concerning children referred for treatment, responses to intelligence testing, home visits, special classes, survey of mentally handicapped children; figures for those attending the Child Guidance Clinic at Castle Douglas and other services available. The appendix comprises Report on Psychological Service for the half-year to 30 June 1956.
