These drawings are for engravings which appear under the heading 'Resemblance of man and animals'. The faces are expressive of stupidity and brutality: "caricatures of men forced into a resemblance to the ox". Pictures of oxen sit under these images, which are augmented by another, full frontal, representation of the man-cow
