Notes

Iris Houghton lives in Tynemouth on the east coast but is originally from Manchester. She is a glass artist and painter and has just set up a studio where she is mainly making vessels. She also exhibits her work in galleries. On the plinth she is going to give out small glass coasters she has made that are engraved with today's date as a souvenir. There is one for each minute and has the time on the back along along with her signature.
