West Indies and South America: sketch-book

West Indies, South America, and North Sea sketches, etc. An incomplete original sketch book of pencil-drawings, containing the West Indian and South American sketches only: dated between 12 April, 1824 and 9 September, 1825. On two of the sketches are notes dated 18 November, 1881. Some of these drawings, in reduced form, are reproduced in the author's 'Voyages of discovery in the Arctic and Antarctic Seas, and round the World', published in two volumes in 1884.
