About this work

Description

This film (part 1 of 2) was made as a result of a demonstration Barker gave of his methods to the British Orthopaedic Association in 1936. After long intertitles explaining the rationale behind the film, Barker commences his manipulation first on the foot (with appropriate explainations) with some sequences repeated close-up. He continues with the knee, then the hip, the low (lower) back. End intertitle; Reel Two to follow.
