Professor Patrick Wall

Papers relating to the life and work of Professor Patrick D Wall (1925-2001) Wall was a Professor of Anatomy at University College London and a leading expert on pain. The file contains a set of correspondence between Wall and Elizabeth Brice from 1993-1994 in which he pledges his support for ACT's campaign and write various lobbying letters of support of the therapeutic use of cannabis to alleviate pain. This also includes various offprints of academic papers on the use of cannabis in pain relief. It also contains biographical information on Professor Wall from Who's Who along with newspaper obituaries and the order of service of his memorial service held in London in January 2002, attended by Elizabeth Brice.
