Description

The patient says: "I have a great appetite, sleep like a dormouse & should think myself main well if mother didn't say as how I be dying of a consumption". One doctor replies: "I think when you have taken the contents of this bottle you will have no more occasion for our services", handing him a bottle with a skeleton labelled: "To be taken till it operates". The other exclaims: "Ah! Terrible symptoms indeed! But we will soon remove them! You shall soon be cured up of all your ailings!".
