Notes

Kay James comes from a small village outside Fife. Tells an interesting story of being number 2612 at military school from the age of 12 to 18. He then became a teacher for 30 years before becoming a postmaster of a small post office following in the footsteps of his father for a few years before meeting his now wife and moving to the Scottish countryside to be with her and their dogs. On the plinth he is going to be talking about local history of his village Largo and three famous historical figures from the village.
