Description

Leprosy investigation. Author's holograph MS. Written in several coloured inks, and illustrated with rough coloured drawings of bacilli, etc. With three inserted typed notes on leprosy, signed by the author and dated 1960, 1961: and a similar presentation letter (2 pp.) to the Wellcome Institute of the History of Medicine, dated Crewkerne (Somerset) 27 Nov. 1961.

Biographical note

The author qualified in London in 1904, and was later A.D.M.S. to the West African Medical Service, Superintendent of the Ngomahuru Leprosy Hospital, and Leprologist to the Government of S. Rhodesia.
