Description

The lithograph shows a steep approach path up to the monastery. At the bottom of the path, there are two soldiers and a tent: one of the soldiers cooks on a fire and the other carries water in buckets for their horses. A coach stands behind them. The monastery is shown above among cliffs on the right. The abbot (?) comes down from the hill towards the military camp
