Notes

Helen Quigley comes from Derry, Northern Ireland. She was originally born in Manchester and lived there until she was 24. She is a feminist and a bit of a tomboy. On the plinth she will be holding up a banner asking for the extension of the abortion act to women of Northern Ireland. She is representing the 40 woman a week who have to come over to the UK to have abortions and will be sticking 40 female symbols around the edges of the plinth that represent these 40 women. She hasn't told anyone else what she will be doing on the plinth. Alliance for Choice is the main protest group for the extention of the abortion act. She is doing this to alert awareness.
