Notes

Rich Fisher is from Nottingham, he says that he has always been an adventurous person. He talks about why he chose to apply to go on the plinth and how felt when he found out. On the plinth he will be dressing up as a parrot to raise awareness of the National Parrot Trust, he has also raised money by asking people to sponsor him to dress as a parrot in such a public place. He is currently a primary school teacher but he used to work in media. His other interests included football, cooking, travel and reading. He talks about how and why he made the transition from media to teaching and what it is about teaching that he enjoys.
