Trachoma WHO grade: TF with TI

WHO grade: trachomatous inflammation - follicular (TF) with trachomatous inflammation - intense (TI) This is the upper tarsal conjunctiva of a patient with TF and TI. There is very marked inflammatory thickening of the upper tarsal conjunctiva. Some of the deep tarsal vessels are visible, but more than half are obscured. The tarsal conjunctiva is also red and rough, and there are numerous follicles. Note: WHO = World Health Organization.
