Plates from 251 onwards have no printed legends but legends have been added by hand on several
Plates 281-2, 288 and 292-6 are not present; they were not ready for original publication in 1696 and were apparently added in 1705.

Copy 2 Vol. 1 Note: Plates 251-350 only, with text for 'Mantissa' not in preceding copy. No t.p. or dedication to pt. iv. Although t.p. to 'Mantissa' is dated 1700 this volume may be a later reissue. The plates missing from the preceding copy are present (although 'Mantissa' includes an apology for their absence). T.p. of Mantissa is printed in black only without vignette (Guédès calls for red and black; he and Henrey both call for vignette). Four prelim. leaves with letter by L. Peuzaeus and verses by Robert Plukenet are not present (as in other copies)
