Notes

Alexandra Travis comes from Leicestershire. She is planning to raise awareness of cancer research on the plinth. She talks of watching her previous boyfriend's dad having the disease. She lived in Genoa, Italy for 6 months for a protestant church. She has a degree in biochemistry, says she wants to make an effort and help in drug design -making a substantial contribution to the world. She has started a placement doing cancer research in Cambridge for the next year.
